Protected by Immunity: CPS Worker Caught on Camera Telling 14-Year-Old to Become a Prostitute

0

When you think of CPS, you think of protection. Safety. Somebody looking out for kids when no one else will.

But sometimes, the people we trust to protect our children are the very ones leading them into danger.

In August 2022, a CPS employee in Houston, Texas was caught on camera telling a 14-year-old girl to become a prostitute.

Not to stay strong. Not to find safety. Not to hold on to her future.

But to sell her body.

And what happened to the worker?

She lost her job. That’s it.

No criminal charges. No public accountability. Protected by immunity, while a child’s life was treated like it meant nothing.

The System Isn’t Failing It’s Following Its Blueprint

What kind of system protects the predator instead of the child?

This isn’t about one bad employee. This is about a system that allows it to happen:

  • Hiring people who have no business working around kids.
  • Looking the other way when lines are crossed.
  • Hiding behind “immunity” instead of facing real consequences.

If a parent told their child to prostitute themselves, they’d be in handcuffs before the day was over.

But when a CPS worker does it?

They just move on to the next paycheck.

Families Are Waking Up

More and more parents are realizing that the system isn’t what it claims to be.

It’s not about saving kids. It’s about control, about funding, and sometimes about covering up things they don’t want the public to see.

Real protection would mean standing up for kids. Investigating corruption. Holding people accountable.

Instead, we’re watching the same pattern repeat itself: Silence. Cover-up. Immunity.

This Can’t Keep Happening

This case happened in Houston. But it could just as easily happen in any city, any town, any state.

When we don’t demand accountability, we leave the next child wide open to be hurt again.

It’s not enough to fire a worker after the damage is done. We need real consequences. Real change.

  • End immunity for CPS workers who abuse their power.
  • Launch independent investigations into child welfare agencies nationwide.
  • Give families and children the power to fight back against injustice.

Children deserve better. Families deserve better. And we’re not going to stop speaking out until they get it.

Have a Story?

If you’ve seen corruption, abuse, or injustice inside CPS, DHR, or any child welfare system your voice matters.

Share your story. Tell the truth. Stand with the families who refuse to stay silent.

Together, we can demand a system that actually protects kids not preys on them.
