HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Patrick Streeter, a former foster parent and minister, has been convicted by a Madison County grand jury on multiple sex abuse charges involving a foster child under his care.
The abuse reportedly occurred between 2018 and 2021. Streeter was found guilty of:
- Three counts of first-degree sodomy
- Two counts of engaging in a sex act with a foster child
- One count of sexual torture
Streeter had previously served as a minister at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church, though officials confirmed he was no longer affiliated with the church at the time of his arrest. Investigators have stated that none of the crimes took place on church property or involved church members.
After his 2023 arrest in Madison County and release on a $190,000 bond, Streeter was later charged in Baldwin County on similar offenses. He is currently in custody at the Madison County Jail and is scheduled to be sentenced on June 26, 2025, at 11 a.m.
