If you’re here, it’s probably because something happened to your family; something you can’t forget, no matter how much time passes.
You were mistreated.
You were misled.
You were violated by a system that was supposed to protect.
And while you’re still trying to pick up the pieces, the people who helped destroy your home just move on to the next case, the next lie, the next family.
We’re not letting that slide anymore.
It’s time to name names.
Why This Matters
This campaign, “Give Us Their Names”, was born out of a deep need to make sure the people who harm families in silence are no longer protected by that silence.
We’re not just talking about departments or titles.
We’re talking about real people.
- The DHR worker who twisted your story to justify a removal.
- The GAL who made recommendations without ever meeting your child.
- The judge who ignored the facts and rubber-stamped separation.
- The police officer who sought warrants and took the stand under oath without ever investigating the truth.
When we name them, we begin to see the pattern.
When we share them, we begin to find each other.
And when we speak up, we protect the next family from going through what we did.
What We’re Asking You to Do
If someone played a role in harming your family’s case, especially in Alabama, we’re asking you to speak their name.
You don’t have to post it publicly. You don’t have to attach your name. But please help us build the record by sending:
- The person’s full name or job title
- What they did (just a few sentences)
- Any documents, screenshots, or recordings (only if you have them and feel safe sharing)
You can email us at contact@familiesvsdhr.org or message us directly on our Facebook page: Families vs. Houston County DHR.
We will keep your identity private unless you say otherwise.
If you’re ready to tell your full story not just the name, but what really happened we invite you to go deeper. Whether it was wrongful removal, retaliation, or being silenced in court, your truth deserves to be heard.
Click here to submit your story securely.
We’ll protect your privacy. We’ll give your story the space it deserves. And we’ll make sure it fuels the change we’re building together.
What We’ll Do With This Information
Once we begin gathering names and stories, we’ll start doing what the system refuses to do.
- Document the abuse.
- Identify patterns.
- Push for firings, resignations, and investigations.
- Protect other families by exposing dangerous workers.
We’re not here to cause chaos.
We’re here to seek truth and accountability.
Because when someone strips away your rights, separates you from your child, or falsifies a report to protect their own job, they should be held responsible.
You’re Not Alone
You may have felt alone in that courtroom.
You may still feel like no one understands the depth of what you’ve lost.
But you are not alone anymore.
There are hundreds of families across Alabama and beyond who are walking through the same nightmare.
We are tired of the silence.
Tired of pretending the system is “just doing its job.”
They’re not doing their job. They’re doing damage. And we are keeping track now.
Let’s Take Action Together
- Send us the names
- Share this campaign with someone else who’s been through it
- Follow our updates as we build the list and take it public
Because knowing who harmed you, and making sure they never get the chance to harm again, is not just power.
It’s justice.
